Charles A. Kauffman, 92, of Stokes, NC passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at home. He was the husband of Rose E. Pierce Kauffman. He was born in Manor Twp., son of the late Harry and Laura S. Ament Kauffman. He was a carpenter for Hershey Equipment Company and was a veteran of the US Navy, WWII, having served on four different ships, including the USS Drummond. He was a member of Grace EC Church; Millersville Manor VFW Post #7294; AMVETS Post #34; and enjoyed bowling and carpentry work.
Surviving in addition to his wife, children: Jeffrey (Cindy) Kauffman; Connie Weaver; and Charlene Burkholder. Daughter-in-law: Susan Kauffman. Step-children: Frederick, Timothy, and Wayne Wilson; Carol Briley and Marie (Larry) Sutton. Six grandchildren. Eight great-grandchildren. Seven step-grandchildren. Six step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son: Melvin J. Kauffman. One granddaughter: Shannon Kissinger. And four brothers and sisters.
The Graveside Service and Burial will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. with Full Military Honors.
