Lois G. Baltozer

 
 

Lois G. Baltozer, 92, of Silver Spring, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at St. Anne's Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late George R. Baltozer, whom she married in 1952 and they bought and ran a dairy farm until their retirement. Lois was born in Conestoga, daughter of the late David H. (well known area antique collector) and Ethel Gantz Brubaker. She was raised on the family farm, outside of Conestoga, where she learned the value of hard work. Lois attended Green Hill United Methodist Church, where she learned about the Lord and accepted Jesus as her Savior. She was a faithful member of Word of Life Chapel, Bainbridge. Lois had a love of collecting/selling antiques, attending auctions, gardening, flowers, dogs and making items from old fabrics. She was an excellent seamstress, making her family clothing, drapes, chair covers as well as doing mending and repair work for others.

She is survived by her children: Larry (Sonia) Baltozer, Rohrerstown; Patti (Dave) Nace, Mountville; Terry Baltozer, Lancaster and Michael (Lisa) Baltozer, Silver Spring. Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One sister: Phyllis Ruit, Virginia. She was preceded in death by brothers: Warren and David G. Brubaker.

The Memorial Service will be held at Word of Life Chapel, 139 Wickersham Road, Bainbridge, PA 17502 on SATURDAY, JANUARY 13, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Aaron Spoonhour, officiating. The Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Everyone is invited to a luncheon following the service. Private Interment in Silver Spring Cemetery.
