Howard B. Larsen, 104, of St. John's Herr Estate, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. He was the husband of the late Beatrice V. Larsen, who passed away on December 29, 2003 and Elizabeth Kershner Kline Larsen with whom he celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary in December of 2018. He was born in Brooklyn, NY son of the late Jens and Margaret Thompson Larsen. Howard worked as a Supervisor in Telephone Services, Manhattan, before his retirement. He was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church and he enjoyed bowling, traveling, Big Band Music, and dancing.

Surviving in addition to his wife, one son: Kurt H. (Judy) Larsen. Two daughters: Janet E. (Tom) Fabian and Kristine B. (Jay) Lowman. One step-daughter: Renee E. (Thomas) Haag. One step-son: Jason S. (Louise) Kline. Four grandchildren. Three great-grandchildren. Five step-grandchildren. Five step-great-grandchildren. One sister: Madelyn Rowe. He was preceded in death by one step-son: Richard Kline and one step-grandson: Gregory Amato.

The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at St. John's Herr Estate, 200 Luther Lane, Columbia, PA 17512 on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Chaplain Dione M. Klepetka and Pastor Luke Seamon, officiating. Interment in Silver Spring Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: St. John's Herr Estate or Reformation Lutheran Church, 2100 Manor Ridge Dr., Lancaster, PA 17603.
