Dorothy J. Kline, 90 years of age of Lancaster, PA, passed peacefully under the care of Hospice and Community Care and surrounded by loving family.
She was a resident of St. Anne’s Retirement Community, Columbia, PA for the past 5 years. Born in Braddock, Pennsylvania and survived by her spouse Paul A. Kline, they married on June 6, 1959 in Church of the Assumption in Bellevue, PA and shared a lifetime of 67 years together.
Also, surviving are her four children Mary Kline Diller (Christopher), Carolyn Kline Coyle, Susan Kline Shiner (Jeffrey) and Paul J. Kline (Joanne). Paul and Dorothy enjoyed
showering 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren with love. Through all seasons of family life events, she continually modeled tireless, selfless love, care and concern. In addition, she is survived by Jim and Audrey Kline and family, and the Bonistalli family.
Dorothy was a Charter Member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, Lancaster, PA as
well as a prior member at St. John the Beloved in New Castle, Delaware where she
sang and served faithfully for many years as an alto in their church choirs. She and her
husband Paul sailed the waters of the Chesapeake Bay routinely during boating
seasons. In addition, she also played bridge with a group of friends affectionately
known as the “bridge club” who have been constant and long-lasting friends during her
life’s journey.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne’s Retirement Community 3952 Columbia Avenue, Columbia, PA, in Pauline
Hall on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation from 10:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
