Shirley M. Gable, 82, of Farmdale, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Russel H. “Joe” Gable, who passed away in February 2009. She was born in Marietta, daughter of the late George and Helen Edye Rapp. She enjoyed cooking and family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Trudy A. (Thomas) Leaman, Mountville; Ronna (Chris) Kauffman, York; Timothy J. (Robyn) Goretzke, Mount Joy and Tiffany (Ryan) Lewis, Columbia. Ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Two sisters: Darlene (Wayne) Gilchrist, Pittsburgh and Linda (Jay) Sensing, Marietta. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Tammy Rafferty.
