Irene G. Deets, 82, of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. She was the wife of the late Oscar Deets, who passed away in 1993. She was born in Columbia, daughter of the late Charles H. and Irene Bachman VonStetten. Irene was very active as an Avon Representative for more than 30 years and enjoyed reading, going to the library and the movies, her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
She is survived by her children: Lynn Ann (Earl) Musser, Barry L. Deets, Steven O. (Sheri) Deets, all of Columbia and Charles W. Deets (partner of Richard Kepley), Lebanon. Eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
The Memorial Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 31 South Eighth Street, Columbia on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Tom Grubbs, officiating. Interment in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
