Tierra Sian Gilbert, 21, of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at home. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of Dayna Sian Gilbert, Columbia.
Tierra was a graduate of Hempfield High School, Class of 2013, where she was an honors student in the gifted program. She was a cashier at Musser’s Market, Columbia who loved life, going shopping, and spending time with family and friends. “Lyla Marie” was Tierra’s beloved dog.
She is survived by two brothers: Nathan John, Jr., and Derek Sangrey. Four sisters: Sasha S. Oxenreider, Erica Sangrey, Marissa Sangrey, and Aundrea Sangrey. Paternal grandparents: John (Liz) Sangrey. Maternal grandmother: Kathleen Fritz. Maternal grandparents: Cleonard (Kimberly) Gilbert. Maternal great-grandparents: Jack (Frances) Fritz.
The Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul’s Baptist Church, 297 S. Fifth St., Columbia, on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Adrian Boxley, officiating. Interment in Ironville Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Please omit flowers.
