Patricia F. Morris, 81, of West Lampeter Twp., passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late Frederick W. and Maude F. Hayford Joost. She was a financial advisor for Thrivent Lutheran Services and also worked at Lowe’s. She was a member of Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church, their Altar Guild and served as an assistant minister. She was a Master Gardener; a member of the Mayflower Society, 12th Generation; and sang in the Ephrata Cloister’s singing group.
She is survived by one son: Chuck R. (Debra L.) Wolf, West Lampeter Twp. Two daughters: Deborah L. (Anthony J., Sr.) Purcell, Lancaster and Lynne F. (John P.) Wertz, South Carolina. Three grandchildren: Anthony J. Purcell, Jr., Heather N. Wolf, and Chad R. Wolf, III. Two great-grandchildren: Tasha Storm, and Brady T. Wolf. One brother: Frederick W. (Rosie) Joost, Jr., Lancaster. One sister: Sandra G. (Robert) Coleman, Kansas.
The Memorial Service will be held at Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3825 Concordia Road, Columbia, PA 17512 on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mary Anne Kingsborough, officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Please omit flowers.
