Dorothy M. Eshleman,  94, of St. John’s Herr Estate, Columbia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 13, 2018. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Eshleman for 63 years before he passed away in August, 2009. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late Robert and Mary Potts Oswald. Dorothy graduated from JP McCaskey High School, Class of 1941 and was a member of Clearfield United Methodist Church, where she previously served as Sunday School Superintendent, and president of the United Methodist Women. She also served as president of the Rawlinsville Camp Meeting Auxiliary; volunteer many hours with the Water Street Mission Auxiliary; was a member of Red Rose Assembly #22, Artisans Order of Mutual Protection, where she served as Master Artisan and Deputy. She loved spending time with her family, playing Bingo, and participating in the activities at St. John’s

The Family would like to thank the staff at St. John’s for taking such great care of her over the last two years. She always had a smile on her face and will be dearly missed.

Dorothy is survived by three sons: Charles R. husband of Patricia Eshleman, Carmel, CA; Larry D. husband of Debra Eshleman, Windermere, FL; and Jere W. Eshleman, Humble, TX. One daughter: Patti A. wife of Charles Kleckner, Mountville. Eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be held at Clearfield United Methodist Church, 1238 Rawlinsville Road, New Providence, PA 17560 on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Thomas Weeple, officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow the service in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: Clearfield United Methodist Church or Rawlinsville Camp Meeting, PO Box 94, Conestoga, PA 17516.
