David C. Starner, 69, of Landisville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at home. He was the husband of Terri L. Smith Starner, with whom he celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on November 3, 2025. David was born in Deposit, NY, son of the late Grayson D. and Betsy K. Van Ness Starner. He had very fond memories growing up in Lockport, NY. In 1968, he moved to Pennsylvania, and became an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He was a graduate of Millersville University, Class of 1982 and worked as a truck driver for Air Products before his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking, hiking and kayaking. David loved being a father to his two daughters and was a very good family man. Surviving in addition to his wife, two daughters: Jacqueline (Scott) Simonovich, California and Brittany (Dan) Torres, Maytown. One granddaughter: Sabrina and one on the way. One brother: Robert (Abi) Starner. One sister: Gretchen (Dan) Famous. Three nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by one sister: Nancy L. Starner.
