Mary Catherine Munster, 58, of Mountville, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at home. She was the wife of Jeffrey S. Munster with whom she would have celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in August of 2025. Mary was born in Ashland, PA, daughter of the late Christopher and Nancy McGee. She was a Compliance Administrator for EG Stoltzfus Construction. Mary was a graduate of Hempfield High School, Class of 1984. Mary studied Occupational Safety and Hygiene Management at Millersville University. Mary graduated from Millersville in 1988 and was the first female to do so in her field of study.
Mary loved to entertain at home during the holidays and at her pool. She enjoyed going out to dinner with the "Friday Night Dinner Crew".
She was a member and president at the Lancaster Liederkranz, where she spent countless hours volunteering on many different committees. Those who knew Mary knew that she was a strong, driven woman, who did everything to the fullest. She was loved and will be missed by many.
Surviving in addition to her husband, her daughter: Kelsey Munster and son-in-law: Marcus Sydnor, Jersey City, NJ. Two sisters: Elizabeth (Drew) Fredricks and Jennifer (Mark) Miller, all of Lancaster. She is also survived by other family and friends.
