Beth Trayer Miller, 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, after a hospitalization for a fall. She was the wife of the late David K. Miller, who passed away in November of 2025 after over 70 years of marriage. Beth was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late John and Beulah Trayer. She was a faithful member of Central Manor Church where she was an organist, pianist and Sunday School teacher.

Beth was a piano teacher for over 50 years and also enjoyed canning and freezing fruit and many vegetables from their garden. She was an avid seamstress, having made draperies and clothes for her grandchildren, with doll clothes to match. Beth and Dave enjoyed traveling and spending time with their family, especially at their cabin in Juniata County.

She is survived by one daughter: Mary Lou (Joe N.) Sherer, and one son: Kenneth (Brenda) Miller. Five grandchildren: Laura (Josh) Vlasak; Ryan (Melanie) Miller; Allison (Josh) Sherer; Melanie Sherer and Carissa Sherer. Four great-grandchildren. Beth was preceded in death by her brother: John D. Trayer.

A Private Graveside Service and Burial will be held for the family.
