Larry C. Trice, Sr.

Larry C. Trice, Sr., 65, of Mountville, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016. He was the husband of Valli Trice with whom he shared 22 years of marriage. He was born in Coatesville, son of the late Luke and Delores Brooks Trice. He worked for Burnham Corp. for 12 years and, Kerr Glass for 24 years, before his retirement in 2006. Following his retirement, he worked part-time as a maintenance person at Tanger Outlets. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed golfing, NASCAR, dancing, and his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife, two sons: Larry Trice, Jr. and Michael Trice. One daughter: Kim (Douglas) Sheppard, all of Lancaster. One step-son: Lonnie (Crystal) Ashford, Manheim. One step-daughter: Michele Ashford, Millersville. Fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Two brothers: Palmer (Dolores) Trice, Las Vegas, and Carl Trice, Coatesville. One step-brother: Bill (Jenny) Jenkins, Coatesville. He was preceded in death by one sister: Cheryl Marsh.

The Memorial Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. with visitation from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: the Alzheimer’s Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
