James E. Weaver, Jr., 75, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. He was the husband of Carlene D. Rupert Weaver, with whom he would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on March 31, 2017. He was born in Lancaster, son of the late James E., Sr. and Virginia Patterson Weaver. Jim worked as a parts manager for R.S. Hollinger & Son, Inc. for 26 years before his retirement in 2016. He enjoyed watching TV, loved going to Disney World, to the shore at Wildwood, NJ, and his children.
Surviving in addition to his wife, his children: Denise L. Delmotte, Christine L. Stedmen, and James E. Weaver, III. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and four sisters.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Charles A. Deutsch, officiating.
