Marian G. Wade, 95, formerly of Mountville, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Manor Care Health Services, where she was a resident. She was the wife of the late Harry R. “Sam” Wade who passed away on April 15, 2006. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late Willis and Lillie Lefever Glick. She worked as a cook at Mountville Elementary School for 7 years before her retirement in 1982. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan.
She is survived by one daughter: Susan M. (William D.) Lewis, Lancaster. She was preceded in death by one son: David S. Wade. Brothers: Willis, John, and Ben Glick. Sisters: Marie and Martha Glick, and Fianna Wile.
A Private Service was held for the family with interment in Mountville Brethren Cemetery. Arrangements by the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., Mountville/Columbia.
