Gregory B. Douglas, Sr., 63, of Columbia, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017. He was the husband of Janean L. Pettis Douglas, to whom he was married for 45 years. He was born in Columbia, son of Emma V. Lewis Douglas and the late Gene C. Douglas, Sr. He was the co-owner/operator of Douglas Brothers. He enjoyed NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Jr.; going to the York Fair; going to car shows; street rods; tinkering in his garage; the weekends, when he got together with his friends in the garage; and his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother, one son: Gregory B. Douglas, Jr. Two grandsons: Tyler and Jackson Douglas. One brother: Gene C. “Butch” Douglas, Jr. Two sisters: Debra A. (Bela) Elek; and Sherry L. (Jen Eck) Douglas.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. Interment in Silver Spring Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
