Arlene S. Gaul, 87, formerly of East Petersburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at her residence, at Pleasant View Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late Burnell M. Gaul, who passed away in 2008. She was born in Manor Township, daughter of the late Aaron R. and Cora Sangery Breneman. Arlene was a School Bus Driver for Getz Brothers for many years before her retirement. She was a member of Hempfield United Methodist Church. She enjoyed visiting and going out to eat with family and friends, and traveling.
She is survived by her children, Donald B. (Virginia) Gaul, Landisville; Donna M. (Allen) Carle, Allentown; and Carol (Barry) Sheaffer-Hayes, Lancaster. Three grandchildren. Eight great-grandchildren. One brother: Jay W. Breneman, Manor Twp. She was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Don Price, officiating. Interment in Silver Spring Cemetery. There will be no public viewing, however, visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Please omit flowers.
