Joanne A. Murry, 83, of Mountville passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Hershey Medical Center following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Richard B. Murry. Joanne was born in Columbia, daughter of the late William and Arvena Weitzel. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and enjoyed crafts, vacationing, bowling, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons: Rick W. (Stacy) Murry, Lancaster and Brian L. “Jake” Murry, Mountville. One daughter: Karen E. Mellinger, Mountville. Three grandchildren: Jennifer, Angela, and Monica. Three great-grandchildren: Alexis, Aiden, and Caleb. One great-granddaughter: Aira, who is on the way. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Brenda Lynn Murry, and one sister: Dottie.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc. 114 West Main Street, Mountville, on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mark K. Justice, officiating. Interment in Mountville Cemetery. Friends may call at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc. from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Please omit flowers.
