Robert J. Keagy

Robert J. Keagy, 87, of Manor Township, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017. He was the husband of Vera S. Habecker Keagy, with whom he celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on April 14, 2017. He was born in Manor Twp., son of the late Joseph J. and Katie Dombach Keagy. He owned and operated the family business, Keagy Produce since 1968 and enjoyed going to various market stands. He was a very faithful person and was a member of Habecker Mennonite Church. He enjoyed fishing in the Susquehanna River, and small game hunting.

Surviving in addition to his wife, his children: Kenneth R. (Vicki L.) Keagy; N. Ray Keagy; Mervin R. Keagy; Shirley M. (Michael W.) Williams; and Kathy M. (Gregory T.) Markward. Five grandchildren: Jennifer A. Keagy, and companion Andrew Gerald; Christopher R. (Mary) Keagy; Dylan T. Keagy; Jessica M. Markward; and Alyssa K. Markward. One great-grandson: Brodie A. Gerald. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Charles Keagy and Paul Keagy, Sr. One sister: Verna Eshbach.

The Funeral Service will be held at Habecker Mennonite Church, 451 Habecker Church Road, Lancaster, PA 17603, on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Randy Martin, officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: Habecker Mennonite Church or Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
