Ronald J. Crockett, 76, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. He was the husband of Erma B. Hetrick Crockett, with whom he celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on August 23, 2017. He was born in Loysville, son of the late Charles H. and Annabelle Ricedorf Crockett. He was a custom cabinet maker for Signature Custom Cabinets, Ephrata, and was an over-the-road truck driver. Ron was a veteran of the US Army and he enjoyed word search puzzles, riding motorcycles, and dining out.
Surviving in addition to his wife, his siblings: Gary Crockett, Paul (Terri) Ickes, Pauline Ickes, Larry (Carol) Ickes, David Ickes, Tina Ickes, Vicky Ickes, and Terry Ickes. One foster sister: Elizabeth Waltman. Several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. David A. Thomann, officiating.
