Pastor Jo Ann Enders

Pastor Jo Ann Enders, 75, of Mountville, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018. She was the wife of Harold F. Enders with whom she celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on February 11, 2018. She was born in Salunga, daughter of the late Charles E. and Mary I. Brenner Aument. Pastor Jo Ann served in many churches, most recently at Washington Boro United Methodist Church. She walked with Jesus Christ, who was the source of her love and inspiration.  She shared that great love with her family and the community. She served at and was a member of Mountville Church of the Brethren.  She started the 4-H Club in Mountville.  Through these endeavors she touched many youth, who knew her and her husband as “Mr. and Mrs. E”. Pastor Jo Ann was a member of the Conestoga Herb Guild, and she enjoyed gardening, sewing, rug hooking, knitting, cross stitching, camping, her German Shepherd dogs, and going to the cabin. 
 
Surviving in addition to her husband, her children: Deborah J. (John N.) Albright; Harold F. (Debra J.) Enders, Jr.; and Belinda G. (Christopher M.) Collins, MD, PhD. Four grandchildren: Ryan C. (Ashley); Cory N. (Brittany); Dane A.; and Christina M.  (Alex). Seven great-grandchildren. One brother: Donald (Patricia) Aument.
 
The Funeral Service will be held at the Mountville Church of the Brethren, 60 Clay Street, Mountville on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Carlene Wolf, officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: Washington Boro United Methodist Church, 1964 Water St., Washington Boro, PA 17582.
