Richard T. Hollen

Richard T. Hollen, 80 of Woodcrest Villa formerly a long time resident of Mountville passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was the husband of Patsy Lou Hollen who passed away on July 16, 1994.  He was born in Barnesboro, PA, son of the late Richard T. and Rebecca Hicks Hollen. Richard was an accountant for ITT Grinnell Corporation, Columbia for over 30 years. Richard was most recently a member of Faith Bible Fellowship Church, enjoyed bowling at Leisure Lanes and spending time walking his dog, “Star”. While residing in Mountville, Richard was a member of the Lions Club, a social member of Reese-Hall VFW Post #8757, a 32nd degree Mason, served on the Mountville Borough Council, was Treasurer and President of the Hempfield School Board, and was President of the Vo Tech Board.  

He is survived by his son, Matthew and his wife Lisa Hollen who live in Coppell, TX.  He has two granddaughters. He is also survived by his two brothers Jim and Charley and sister Shirley and was pre-deceased by his brother Russ.  

Graveside Service and Burial will be in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens on Thursday August 2, 2018 at 11:00am with Pastor Claire E. Harstad, officiating. Arrangements by Workman Funeral Homes Inc. Mountville/Columbia. To send an online condolence, visit the condolence page.
