Estella M. Brubaker

Estella M. Brubaker, 92, formerly of Manheim, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Legend of Lancaster. She was the wife of the late J. Marlin Brubaker, who passed away on October 27, 2006. She was born in Manor Township, daughter of the late Abram S. and Lillian Myers Kreider. She worked at Gerberick and Payne Shoe Factory and also as a line worker at Charles Chips for many years before her retirement. Estella was a member of Mount Pleasant Brethren in Christ Church. She enjoyed travelling, having visited all 50 states; and she read the Bible through, 28 times. 

She survived by one son: John A. (Mary Anne) Brubaker, Elizabethtown, and their family: Michelle R. (Richard) Jennings, children: Chloe and Emma; Nicole (Jason) Winters, children: Breanne and Zachary. One daughter: Nancy Jean (Michael F.) Newcomer, Lancaster, and their family: Kristel (Shawn) Martin; Troy (Kim) Miller, children: Aidan and Emily. One sister: Anna (Clarence) Nissley, West Virginia. One brother: James (Janet) Kreider, Mount Joy. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Betty Korczakowski and Mary Ann Kreider. One brother: John A. Kreider.

The Family would like to thank the staff at Legend of Lancaster for the wonderful care given to Estella.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held at Mount Pleasant Brethren in Christ Church, 1756 Mount Pleasant Road, Mount Joy on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor John Keefer, officiating. Private Interment will be in Mastersonville Brethren in Christ Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
