Fay M. Auker, 85, a resident of Celebration Villa of York, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025. She was born in Ephrata, daughter of the late Elvin and Sarah Ditzler Fake. Fay was a graduate of Ephrata High School, Emile's Academy and Penn State. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd and a member of Eastern Star, Lititz Springs. Fay worked at Mary Lou Sturgis Salon for 10 years and 30 years as a Cosmetology Instructor at Willow Street Vo-Tech. She was known for her "pit crew" abilities at E.C.E.A hare scrambles and enduro races for 30 years. Her love of camping and riding motorcycle provided many memories and visits to the East Coast. Fay loved traveling abroad with her family, gardening, reading and visiting with friends. Her years in Florida brought her new friends and fun adventures.
She is survived by one daughter: Teresa Ann (Steven) Arnold. Her adored grandsons, "her boys": Jay and Jesse Arnold. One sister: Jean Worline.
Fay lived her life with gusto, appreciation and fought valiantly to remain strongly independent.
