Sara M. Fisher, 89, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025. She was the wife of Edward C. Fisher with whom she would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on October 26, 2025. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late Samuel and Frances Reba Gilbert Smith. She was a machine operator and inspector for KD Tools for 26 years before her retirement in 1985.

Sara was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church, Lancaster. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, cake decorating, bowling, cruises, going to the casino and spending time at the cabin. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother for Pack 230, and Boy Scout Troop 30. She also enjoyed having fun and spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband, her children: Durbin E. (Sharon) Fisher, Rebecca S. (Michael) Fritsch and Charles G. (Dennise Peresolak, Mifflintown) Fisher, all of Lancaster. Eleven grandchildren and one great-grandson. One sister: Nancy Kirsch, Lancaster. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Donald, Samuel and Paul Smith. One sister: Reba Good.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 3:30 P.M. with Pastor Mary Anne Kingsborough, officiating. Interment in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. Please omit flowers.
