Russel W. "Rusty" Horner, Jr., 75, of Columbia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, of natural causes. He was born in Columbia, son of the late Russel W. "Mike", Sr. and Alma J. Fischer Horner. Rusty worked at the Occupational Development Center, Lancaster, for many years. He was a lifetime member of the Columbia Borough Fire Department and the Hambones Social Club. Rusty enjoyed playing guitar, traveling and had a lifelong love of everything "Elvis".

Rusty was truly one of a kind and dearly loved. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by one brother: Stephen M. Horner. One niece: Kristy (Brian) Askey. One great-niece: Miranda Askey and one-great nephew: Carson Askey.
