Edna Irene Stambaugh McDonald, 102, of Mountville, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. She was the wife of the late Frederick A. McDonald, who passed away on August 12, 2006. She was born in York, daughter of the late Norman and Nellie Lentz Stambaugh. She attended Mountville Church of the Brethren and was an avid baker.

She is survived by two sons: Larry E. (Carol) McDonald and Barry L. (Vicki) McDonald, all of Delaware. One daughter: Judy A. (Homer) Shenk, Mountville, with whom she resided. Eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren. Two brothers: Carl and William Stambaugh, York. She was preceded in death by one son: David L. McDonald. Two great-grandsons: Ryan and Travis Berlin. One great-great-grandson: Jethro Hackman. Four brothers: Earl, Paul, Preston and Norman Stambaugh. Four sisters: Treva Dearolf, Betty Airing, Florence Lancpord and Geraldine Shelly.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Angela Finet, officiating. There will be no public viewing, however, visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Interment in Riverview Burial Park.
