Gerald Lee Hollingworth, 60, of York, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. He was born in Columbia, son of the late John Lee and Janet Fannie Yentze Hollingsworth. He was the husband of Robin R. Hollingsworth with whom he would have celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary on July 3, 2026.

Gerry worked for IBEW Local #743, Reading before his retirement in 2024. He was a member of Shawnee Reservation Rod and Gun Club; Foresters of America Fraternal Association (OWLS) and Wrightsville Fish and Game.

He loved to tell old stories about his kids and boating on the river. Gerry enjoyed his time going hunting, and taking long drives almost everyday.

Surviving in addition to his wife, three sons: Keith Allen Kline; Matthew Todd Kline and Steven Andrew (Liz) Kline, all of York. One daughter: Abigail Lee (Michael) Mavaddat, Colorado. One granddaughter: Dharma Cabol. One sister: Leeann Watts. One brother-in-law: John Schopf. He was preceded in death by one brother: John Hollingsworth and one sister: Patty Schopf.

Gerry was always ready to have a good time. He loved living on the river and going to camp. He was very proud of all of his kids and being a father to them. He always had a beer in his hand and a smile on his face.
