Betty C. Graham, 94, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026 at Homestead Village. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Schmid and the late Wilbur J. Graham, who passed away on November 12, 2012. She was born in Fleetwood, NC, daughter of the late Walter J. and Margie Moretz Bledsoe.
Betty worked as a secretary for Harold E. Smith Company for 25 years before her retirement in 1992. She was a member of Lancaster Church of the Brethren. She primarily lived her faith through her relationship with others. Betty was kind, patient and empathetic. She and her late husband enjoyed card games with friends and traveling.
Betty was the last of her immediate family of ten children.
She is survived by one daughter: Roberta L. (Barry) Wallick and one son: Jeffrey S. Schmid (companion of: Kate Keim). Seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Three step-children: Gina (Jerry) Brown; Gay (Steve) Polanskey and John (Carol) Graham.
A Private Funeral Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville with private interment in Mountville Brethren Cemetery.
