Michael Owen Campbell

Michael Owen Campbell, 64, of Lancaster, was called home by the Lord when he passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016. He was born in Bellevue, son of the late Donald H. and Virginia Bogman Campbell. He was the husband of Debra A. Kuchar Campbell, the love of his life, for over twenty year.

Michael graduated from Hempfield High School, (Westmoreland County) and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1974 and received additional education in Engineering technology from Penn State University in 1993. He excelled at his profession, becoming the Regional Sales and Marketing Development Manager for Elgiloy Specialty Metals, Elgin, IL. He was previously employed by Ametek Precision Metals in Lancaster. Michael was a member of the Hempfield United Methodist Church, and was an avid Harley Davidson rider. He enjoyed his life; his pets: Punkin and Maggie; and spending time in his backyard paradise with his wife, Debra.

Surviving in addition to his wife, his son, who he took great pride in: US Army Captain Ryan Campbell, of the 10th Mountain Division, who is the husband of Jessica, Fort Drum, NY. One step-daughter: Stacey Staddie, wife of US Master Sergeant Kevin L. Staddie, Brookings, SD. Two grandchildren: Aiden and Kaitlyn. Two brothers: Gregory Campbell, husband of Elaine, Greenville, SC, and Bryan Campbell, husband of Kela, Irwin, PA. Three nephews: Andrew, Mathew, and Jeremy. Two nieces: Meredith and Brooke.

Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Michael, at Hempfield United Methodist Church, 3050 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor John F. Longmire, officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. A luncheon will be served following the service from 12:00 Noon to 1:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, contributions may be sent to the Pet Pantry of Lancaster County, 26 Millersville Rd., Lancaster, PA 17603.
