May 2, 2016 Gregory Workman

Dorothy E. “Dottie” Frey, 66, of Red Lion, passed away gracefully at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy, while maintaining a positive attitude, from a hard-fought battle with cancer for the past 11 years. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Frey, Jr., who passed away in 2002. She was born in Columbia, daughter of the late Earl L. and Erma E. Null Montgomery. She was a retired Elementary School Teacher, having taught in the Columbia and Red Lion School Districts. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and cooking. She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and an animal lover.

Teaching was her passion and she enjoyed taking great care of the children.

She is survived by one son: Ryan M. Frey, Red Lion, and one daughter: Nicole E.  (David P.) Weaver, York. Two granddaughters: Lily and Lexy. Two grand puppies: Abby and Dawkins.

The Memorial Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 31 South Eighth Street, Columbia on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Visitation from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
