Paul A. Seifert, Jr., 67, of Mountville, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. He was the husband of Yoshimi Ichikawa Seifert with whom he would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on November 11, 2016. He was born in Columbus, OH, son of the late Paul A., Sr. and Jean B. Seifert. He was a machinist, having worked for Permutit AY Machine Company and Sanitary Process Systems, Lititz for 21 years. He was a veteran of the US Navy, during the Vietnam Conflict; a member of MYAA, having served as president from 1985-1990, where he coached baseball, and football from 1983-1992. He enjoyed going to the mountains, camping, dogs and cats, all Philadelphia sports teams, spending time with his family, being very proud of his children and grandchildren, and was an avid Penn State fan. He was a father figure to everyone on his teams, and all of the family friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife, two sons: Timothy P. Seifert and Thomas L. (KellyAnn) Seifert. One daughter: Tina M. Seifert, companion of Bradley Moore. Four grandchildren: Anyssa Seifert; Anthony Rodriguez; Jevin Seifert; and Dylan Seifert. Two brothers: David (Barbara) Seifert, and John (Jodi) Seifert. One sister: Margaret (Dan) Helwig. Several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother: Mark Seifert.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mark Thiboldeaux, officiating. Interment in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors. Friends may call at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: MYAA, PO Box 415, Mountville, PA 17554, or the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.
