Blanche A. Henry, 105, formerly of Manor Township, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at the Mennonite Home. She was the wife of the late Ira G. Henry, to whom she was married for 59 years before he passed away. She was born in Manor Twp., daughter of the late Christian H. and Annie Bireley Murr and was a production worker for Schick and Hamilton Watch Company. Blanche was the oldest member of Stehman Memorial United Methodist Church having been a devout Christian of her faith, reading her Bible daily. She was a graduate of Manor-Joint High School, Class of 1929  and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, flowers, going to auctions and sales, and antiques.

She is survived by one daughter: Joan M. Webb, Manor Twp. Three grandchildren: Sylvia A. (Jay) Shertzer, Washington Boro; Sherlyn K. (Fred, Jr.) Kurtz, Mount Joy; and K. Eugene (Nancy) Henry, York. Six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. One sister: Ruth Binkley, Millersville. She was preceded in death by one son: Kenneth E. Henry. One great-granddaughter: Shelby Myers. Two brothers: Clyde and Howard Murr. Three sisters: Margaret Lehman; Anna Warfel; and Verna Newcomer.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Helen L. Adams, officiating. Interment in Masonville Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 P.M to 2:00 P.M. Please omit flowers.
