Marguerite F. Dippery, 96, of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Ephrata Community Hospital. She was the wife of the late V. Eugene "Dip" Dippery, who passed away on May 14, 1996. She was born in Huntingdon, daughter of the late James and Ruth Sandrus Webb. Marguerite worked as an examiner and folder for Donegal Industries for 28 years before her retirement in February of 1996 and also a salesperson for Sears, retiring in December of 2006. She was a member of the former Silver Spring Baptist Church. Marguerite was an avid reader, amazing cook, and enjoyed doing things for other people. She had a heart of gold.
She is survived by her daughters: Bonnie M. (Frank) Mummert; Marijane E. Walker; Debra R. (Doug) Deibler and Becky L. (Richard) Wolf. Eighteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Beverly Gulliver, six brothers and six sisters. She was the last of her immediate family.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Chris Ammons, officiating.
