Dolores A. Smythe, 78, of Gordonville, formerly of Strasburg, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late W. Everett and Catherine Elizabeth Lefever Smythe. Dolores was a seamstress and volunteered with The Strasburg Ambulance in her early years. She enjoyed hot rod cars, playing board games with her family, sewing and quilting. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by one son: Matt (Ryan) Brown, Lancaster and one daughter: Amy (Matt) Fasnacht, Strasburg. Four grandchildren: Bennett, Kasen, Everly and Galloway. Two brothers: Leon and Russell. Two sisters: Lois and Peggy.

The Memorial Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 5:00 P.M. The Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. To send an online condolence, visit the condolence page.
