Marie E. Landis, 76, of Gap, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at home. She was the wife of the late Kenneth W. Landis, who passed away on August 31, 2019. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late William Reinoehl and the late Mary Jones (Long) and John T. Jones. Marie worked in management for retail stores including, Tukey Hill Minit Markets, Walmart and Dutchway. She also enjoyed watching her husband perform in the band that he played in. Marie was a member of Wayside Presbyterian Church and enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving is one son: John W. Welk (Stacey Welk). One daughter: Rachel M. Welk (Daryl Graybill). Four grandchildren: Ashlee Hackman (Kolby); John D. Welk (Caramie); Taylor Mast (James) and Garrett Welk (Vanessa). Six great grandchildren: Hank, Clay, Brennen, Oliver, Charlee, and Niall. Brothers: Brian Reinoehl (Joanna); Robert Jones (Betty); Jarett Jones; and Mark Jones. One sister: Cheryl Hinkle (Phillip). She was preceded in death by one sister: the late Patricia Baldwin (Terry Baldwin).
The Celebration of Life Service will be held at Wayside Presbyterian Church, 600 Stony Battery Road, Landisville on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dr. Stephen P. Fritz, officiating. The Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Interment in the church memorial garden. Please omit flowers.
