She was born in Lewistown, daughter of the late Foster R. McClellan and Clair S. McClellan. She was the wife of the late William H. Woodward, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage before his passing on October 17, 2008.

Alleyne, lovingly known as “Mam” by her family, was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. With her blend of strength, sass, and sweetness, she brought a vibrant and unforgettable presence to those around her. She loved her family deeply and showed that love in countless ways, whether through cooking, caring for others, or her generous heart.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her humor, her adventurous spirit, and her protective heart. Whether changing her hair color, enjoying a shopping trip, or getting in the car just to go for a drive, Alleyne lived life with spirit and joy. She was a Christian, and her family finds comfort in knowing she is now in the arms of her beloved Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
