Lindia J. Snyder, 79, of Columbia, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026, with her loved ones by her side. Lindia spent more than 60 years married to the love of her life, Paul V. Snyder, Jr. She was born in Knoxville, TN daughter of the late Reford Lee and Lillie M. Cannon.

Lindia was a loving wife, mother, Nana, sister, and friend whose life was defined by her kindness, strength, faith, and love for her family. She spent her life caring for others and creating memories that will be treasured forever. Lindia was known for her faith, generosity, creativity, and love for her family. She found joy in giving to others, quilting, art, jewelry making, lighthouses, purses and hats, Christmas decorations, homemade cooking, hosting wonderful gatherings, traveling with her husband and family, and being her children's biggest cheerleader. Her presence brought comfort and happiness to those around her.

She will be deeply missed by her her husband and children, Paul V. Snyder III, Thomas Mickey Snyder, Melissa Ann Snyder, and Tammy Gail Gantz; her grandchildren, Lauren Rineer, Katelyn Sisk, Thomas Snyder Victoria Stiles, Paul V. Snyder IV, Kevin Gantz II, Charles Braught, Maddison Snyder, and Grace Braught; her 13 great-grandchildren; and her many family members and friends who were blessed to know her. She was preceded in death by two sisters.

The family would like to thank Hospice, Michelle Kennedy, and Jenny Godley for the compassion and support shown during her final days.

Though she may no longer be with us here on earth, her love, memories, and the impact she made on our lives will remain forever in our hearts.
