Edna K. Ginder, 96, formerly of Mount Joy, passed away peacefully at Landis Homes on Monday, October 30, 2017. She was the wife of Jacob S. Ginder, with whom she celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on September 4, 2017. She was born in West Hempfield Township, daughter of the late Elmer S. and Esther M. Minnich Kreider. Edna was the oldest member of Mountville Mennonite Church where she had been a member since 1933. She enjoyed her grandchildren, flowers, birds (Cardinals), visiting family and friends, singing with the Moments of Glad Tidings Chorus, and she faithfully served her husband and children, helping them for many years on their family farms.

Surviving in addition to her husband, one son: Nelson K. Ginder, husband of Mary (Harnish) Ginder, Mount Joy. Two daughters: Ruth, wife of Merrill Borntrager, Mount Joy and Arlene, wife of David Keller, East Berlin. Two grandsons. Ten granddaughters. Twelve great-grandchildren. Three sisters: Dorothy Ruppert (the late William Ruppert); Betty Funk (the late Curtis Funk); Arlene Kreider. One brother: Lester Kreider (Laura Mae). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Melvin Kreider (the late Anna Mary Boll) and one sister: Esther Landis (the late Daniel Landis).

The Family would like to thank the staff at Landis Homes, and Hospice and Community Care for the support shown to them.

The Funeral Service will be held at Mountville Mennonite Church, 205 Froelich Avenue, Mountville, on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Jim Laverty, and Pastor Philip L. Shertzer, officiating. Interment in Crossroads Brethren in Christ Cemetery. Friends may call at East Bethany Chapel, at Landis Homes, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, PA 17543 on Friday from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and also at the church on Saturday, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: the Caring Fund at Landis Homes. Arrangements by the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., Mountville/Columbia.
