June E. (nee Anderson) Roberts, 78, of Landisville, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. She was the wife of Brian A. Roberts with whom she celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 1, 2018. She was born in Hull, England, daughter of the late John Thomas and Esther Elizabeth Moon Anderson. She was a member of St. Edward’s Episcopal Church and sang in their choir for 20 years.

Surviving in addition to her husband, two daughters: Joanne E. (Matthew) Kroll, Marietta; and Anna J. Roberts (Matthew F. Merritt), Greenville, SC. Two granddaughters: Rebekah and Areanna Kroll. One sister: Eileen (Ron) Beal, Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Memorial Service will be held at St. Edward’s Episcopal Church, 2453 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Please omit flowers. William "Bill" Albert Klinefelter

William “Bill” Albert Klinefelter, 82 of Landisville, entered peacefully into his eternal rest on Friday evening, December 21, 2018 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Railroad, PA in 1936, son of the late Corliss L. and Amelia Beulah Houston Klinefelter. Bill was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church for 58 years where he was a choir member, Sunday School Teacher and served as a trustee. He proudly served in the US Navy from 1953-54 when he was Honorably Discharged due to illness. He was a member of the American Legion, Post #34. Bill retired from the meat industry in 2006 after a career that spanned 50 plus years as a store owner, meat cutter, meat manager, meat buyer, and specialist for area food service companies. He was active in the Hempfield Midget Sports Football Program, having coached for 8 years. Bill was very active in various Masonic organizations. He was raised to a Master Mason at Columbia Lodge F&AM #286 where he was a 53 year member. He was also a member of the Lancaster Lodge of Perfection, Council Chapter of Consistory Scottish Rite and Rajah Shrine, both of Reading. He was a Past Grand Tall Cedar of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Lancaster Forest #27. While serving in the Tall Cedars Supreme Forest he held numerous positions. He served as the Past Supreme Scribe, Deputy Supreme Provost Marshall, Deputy Supreme Chief Ranger, and Supreme Chief Ranger. He served as aide to the Supreme Tall Cedar for 3 years and in 2017, he was deeply honored to be the recipient of the Tall Cedar Broughton Award. Bill truly loved spending time with his family whether they were camping, fishing, or vacationing at the Outer Banks of North Carolina. He was the loving husband of Jean I. Bortner Klinefelter, with whom he would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary today, December 24, 2018.

Surviving in addition to his wife, two daughters and a son: Fay C. Radziewicz, companion of Michael Vernon, Manheim; William E. Klinefelter, husband of Susan A. Klinefelter, Landisville; and Melissa J. Yoder, wife of Steven C. Yoder, Lancaster. Eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also, three half-brothers. He was preceded in death by one infant son and a half-brother.

The Viewing will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Friday, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the Masonic Service to follow. Graveside Service and Burial will take place on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Jacob’s Stone UCC Cemetery, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville, PA with Full Military Honors. Following the burial, the Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 100 West Main Street, Mountville, PA 17554 at 12:00 Noon. Donna J. Spangler

Donna J. Spangler, 70, of Conestoga, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at home. She was the wife of Paul E. Spangler, to whom she was married for 44 years. Donna was born in Windber, daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel Blair McClucas. She worked for Exide Corporation for 22 years before her retirement.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are ten brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

The Memorial Service will be held at River Corner Mennonite Church, 524 River Corner Road, Conestoga on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Ruth E. Blount

Ruth E. Blount, 86, of Mountville, received an offer from Heaven that she couldn’t refuse, on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Conestoga View. She was the wife of the late Nolan L. Blount who went to Heaven in 2005. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late Ernest H. and Hazel M. Puridy Baisch. She worked as an assembler for KD Tools for many years before her retirement in 1992. She enjoyed going to garage sales, her family, including her children and grandchildren, and her flower beds. She was an animal lover, especially cats, and was a very giving person to everyone, including family members and strangers. Ruth had a great personality, was the life of the party and made everyone laugh. She will be fondly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by two sons: Nolan S. (Julie) Blount; and Scott A. Blount, all of Columbia. One daughter: Susan L. (Dang) Warner, Lancaster. Three grandchildren: Ashley, Steven, and Paige. One brother, one half-brother, and five half-sisters. She was preceded in death by one son: Roger L. Blount, one brother, one sister, and one half-sister.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Interment in Silver Spring Cemetery. Ellwood C. "Woody" Graves

Ellwood C. “Woody” Graves, 83, of Mountville, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. He was the husband of Jan L. Cluley Graves, with whom he celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on August 28, 2018. He was born in Lancaster County, son of the late Ellwood C., Sr. and Lavina J. Alspach Graves. Woody was a precision machinist for Armstrong World Industries, Lancaster Floor Plant, for 41 years. He was a member and firefighter of West Hempfield Fire and Rescue for 37 years, where he served as assistant chief and was treasurer for 35 years. He enjoyed model trains, his computer, and Summers at the shore. He was also an avid Penn State and Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Surviving in addition to his wife, one son: Rick (Leilani) Graves, Mount Joy. One daughter: Jennifer (Kevin) McKenna, Phoenix, AZ. Two step-daughters: Kenda M. (Mark) Galipo, Harrington, DE; and Gayle J. (James) Malloy, Magnolia, DE. One grandson: Randy (Gwen) Graves. Four granddaughters: Amber Mabrey, USN; Brooke Mabrey; Madelyn Galipo; and Autumn Galipo.

The Firefighter’s Memorial Service will be held at West Hempfield Fire and Rescue, 3476 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601 on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 12:00 Noon.
